Dear Friends at Oak Mound,
Due to the icy parking lot at church, the icy road up to the church, and the extremely cold temperatures, all in-person services for Sunday, February 1, have been cancelled. The parking lot at church has been plowed and salted, but the temperatures have been so low that the salt has not been effective at melting the ice.
I really hate to cancel services again and I have prayed a lot about it and I believe that is how God is leading in these extreme weather conditions.
We hope to have online services from the church for the 10:30am and 6:30pm services on Sunday once again. Please gather your family together and view the services as if you are at church and be an active participant in worship by singing and using your Bible during the sermon. We love you all and look forward to seeing you when we are able to have in-person services again! If we can help you in any way, please let us know!

Pastor Steve was born and raised in the great state of West Virginia, and he has been the pastor of Oak Mound since 2018. Pastor Steve earned a Master of Divinity Degree from Temple Baptist Seminary in Chattanooga, Tennessee before spending the next 25 years in full-time pastoral ministry. Pastor Steve loves to preach the Bible and care for people. Pastor Steve would love the opportunity to meet you! You can contact Pastor anytime with any need.
